bashback
A lightweight, incremental backup utility written in pure Bash that synchronizes directories and maintains backup integrity.
In other words, it's rsync in Bash.
It backs up files, directories, and subdirectories recursively and incrementally; that is, it only updates the files that have changed since the last backup. It supports an exclusion list in the form of a file and regex pattern matching for selective backup.
This project was developed as part of the Operating Systems course at the University of Aveiro.
